One of Chris Stapleton's two books on Himalayan bamboos, Bamboos of Nepal, is now out of print. A few copies may still be available from bamboo suppliers, but no more can be purchased from Kew. Please note that Bamboos of Bhutan is still available. For those who missed the opportunity to purchase Bamboos of Nepal, a rough version can be viewed as a .pdf file with a suitable browser. The copyright holder is the (British) Department for International Development (formerly the Overseas Development Administration), which has kindly given permission for Web publication. It can be viewed, download and printed out.
